What, Zoology?
Zoology is the study of animals, and their relationship among themselves and their environments. Animals are grouped into a taxonomic hierarchy which are used to classify different organisms based on evolutionary relationships.. The broadest to most specific categories of the taxonomic hierarchy is domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species. Zoology has recently been defined through molecular systematic's which compared DNA sequences between organisms to imply evolutionary relatedness.
